Over the years, I’ve written several articles about how to step into the New Year with power, presence and intention.
For example, I’ve written about processing the past year’s wins and losses and lessons learned, setting new goals/resolutions for the new year, etc.

I know for many of us, 2018 was a very challenging year. It certainly was for me. And I have some big plans and hopes and dreams for 2019. Do you? Have big plans, I mean?

I think the question you have to ask yourself – was it enough? Were the results you’ve gotten enough? Or …
Are you ready to step into a much bigger game in the New Year?
I recommend 3 action items to help you transition to a bigger game:
- Look at the results you got in 2018 and ask yourself – What’s working and not working? And – What am I doing or not doing that is getting me these results?
- How can I shift my day-to-day operations and habits to get different results? (Hint: brainstorm ALL the ways before you choose which changes to make and then make one change at a time.)
- What support will I need in order to make these changes?
Spend some time on these questions and then share with me in the comments what you discover for yourself.
In case you weren’t paying attention, #3 is the most important of these. It’s very challenging to break out of your habits and change how you think about things and do things all by yourself. It’s not impossible, don’t get me wrong, people do it.
And its very challenging. So why struggle alone when you don’t have to? Get coaching. Get an accountability partner. Ask for support! And share with us how you’re doing in the comments!
